Passion for Art

I have always had a passion for creating art. I love to see what comes out of my mind and hands, and I am so excited to share the results with you!

Love to Teach

I’ve always loved to teach. I love seeing the light bulb go on in a student’s eyes when they “get it,” and it makes me feel like I did something right.

Locally Owned

We are proud to be a locally owned, small business. We love the idea of being able to support our community, and we know that you'll love the products we offer.

The Owner - Sean Mckinney

I’m an artist, engineer, and entrepreneur. I have a unique set of skills that allow me to see things outside the box. I’m constantly pushing the limit of what’s compatible with glass building tools and equipment for the studio. It’s a lot of work, but it’s worth it.

I’m always looking for ways to improve upon the current state-of-the-art, so that I can offer my clients the best possible experience in their projects. Silica Dreams started in 2018 going through self taught and education series through the corning museum of Glass went from being a hobby in the basement to being a 2000 square foot multimedia studio development of website online presence and parts of life moving in positive directions for the company.
